EUYO Summer Tour 2025
The Summer Tour is the biggest project of every EUYO season. In 2025, we did no fewer than three residencies, toured throughout Europe, and performed well over twenty times in the space of our six weeks on the road.
We worked with our Music Director, Iván Fischer, former Chief Conductor Vasily Petrenko, and outstanding soloists Alina Ibragimova (Violin) and Pablo Ferrández (Cello). Our symphonic repertoire encompassed Enescu, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Shostakovich and Dvořak, plus Schönberg & Berio project to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Berio’s birth.
And that’s not all: with three weeks on the world-class campus of our Grafenegg home, we also explored new ways to enhance the excellence of EUYO performances. These included MusicLabs about aspects of musicians’ wellbeing and concert preparation, from repertoire to shaping careers; work in partnership with the University for Continuing Education Krems; and the continuation of our side-by-side and mentoring work with Music Hub Austria partners the Lower Austrian Music Schools Management (MKM). Building on the success of our Music Hub Austria model, we also took Music Hub Italia to a new level, with a side-by-side performance conducted by EUYO alumnus Jakub Przybycień.
