06/06/2017 - Cellist and EUYO Alumnus Victor Julien-Laferriere has just been announced as the winner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition 2017. The french cellist performed Shostakovich’s First Cello Concerto with the Brussels Philharmonic conducted by Stéphane Denève; he will take home the €25,000 prize along with many new concert opportunities.
