HRH Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands to attend EUYO concert
The EUYO is honoured to announce that Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands has accepted an invitation to attend the Orchestra's concert at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw on August 15, at 8pm.
HRH Princess Beatrix is one of the Honorary Patrons of the Orchestra, an Honorary group which comprises the Heads of State and Government of all the 28 Member States of the European Union.
HRH Princess Beatrix has attended many of the EUYO's Amsterdam concerts, most recently in 2016, meeting the Orchestra's young players, conductors, soloists, and also partners in the Netherlands.
The Orchestra will be led by conductor M° Stéphane Denève, and joined by clarinet soloist Andreas Ottensamer, in a programme comprising W. A. Mozart’s Concerto for clarinet and orchestra in A major K. 622, and Gustav Mahler’s Symphony no. 5 in C sharp minor.
