Martijn Sanders, EUYO Board Co-Chair celebrated Sir John Tusa’s tenure and Ewa Bogusz-Moore’s new appointment, saying: “We owe Sir John an enormous thanks for the efficient and elegant way he has led the Board of the EUYO for almost a decade. We will miss him tremendously. We look forward to co-share the Board with Ewa, who has proven to be a very valuable member of the Board which she joined two years ago.”

Sir John Tusa commented, “It has been an honour and a privilege to sit on the EUYO Board for the past eight years. I am deeply grateful for the cooperation I had as Co-Chair first with Sir Ian Stoutzker and then with Martijn Sanders. The EUYO is blessed with a committed Board and a devoted and tireless executive team led by the Secretary General, Marshall Marcus. I know that the EUYO, a beacon of musical excellence and expression of the finest European ideals will continue to flourish under the Co-Chairmanship of Martijn Sanders and Ewa Bogusz-Moore."

"The EUYO has been a constant source of joy and inspiration for me,” said Ewa Bogusz-Moore, “and I believe more than ever that this orchestra is one of the strongest assets we have, as a European community, for promoting our values and culture. The EUYO’s brilliant young musicians bring us unforgettable moments of artistic excellence, but more importantly, they show us what beauty and harmony we can achieve when we choose to work together beyond our differences. It has been a great privilege to work with Sir John Tusa for many years.
