Kristina Hügel
Kristina Hügel was born in 1996 in Bergisch Gladbach. She had her first violin lessons at the age of five years with her grandfather, who was a violist.
She started her studies at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold in 2014 with Prof. Eckhard Fischer and finished her Bachelor in 2018. Currently she is studying with Prof. Tobias Feldmann at Hochschule für Musik Würzburg.
Due to several masterclasses she worked with renowned violinists such as Prof. Natasha Prishepenko, Prof. Ingolf Turban, Prof. Elisabeth Kufferath and Prof. Ulf Schneider.
Kristina first gained orchestral experiences at the State Youth Orchestra of Nordrhein-Westfalen as leader of the second violins and later on became a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie.
For the season of 2018/19 she was playing with the Staatsorchester Braunschweig and since January 2021 she is a member of the Academy of the Philharmonic Orchestra Erfurt.
In the past she worked with conductors such as Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Jonathan Stockhammer and Srba Dinić.
