Kristine Harutyunyan

Kristine was born in Poland into an Armenian family. She graduated with distinction from the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan, and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, where she studied under the supervision of Professors Mariusz Derewecki and Krzysztof Smietana. During her studies, she was awarded the scholarship of The Marshal of Greater Poland Voivodeship as well as the Guildhall School Financial Award. The conductors that she had the pleasure to work with include Esa-Pekka Salonen, Marin Alsop, Pablo Heras-Casado, Vassily Sinaisky, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Antoni Wit, and François-Xavier Roth. Kristine is a laureate of such violin competitions as the Flame International Competition in Paris or the National Competition Talenty Skrzypcowe in Poznan. Since 2020 she has been a member of the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra in Warsaw. The European Union Youth Orchestra member since 2021. Kristine currently performs on an Italian violin from the early 19th century.
