Inesa Baltatescu was born in Chisinau (Moldova) where she, at the age of 7, started to take her first violin lessons under the guidance of Svetlana Balaescu. In 2012 she moved to Parma (Italy) where she continued her journey at the Conservatorio di Musica “A. Boito” with Grazia Serradimigni and Luigi Mazza. Currently, she is bound to proceed with her studies in Trento, at the Conservatorio di Musica “F.A. Bonporti”, where she will be pursuing her Master’s Degree under the guidance of Giacomo Tesini. In addition to curricular activities, she has also taken part in numerous concerts with Orchestra Regionale dell’Emilia Romagna, Orchestra del Festival Pianistico Internazionale di Brescia e Bergamo, Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana and Landesjugendsinfonieorchester amongst many others and performed in venues such as Harbin Grand Theatre (China), Sala Verdi (Milan) and KKL Luzern (Switzerland) to name a few. Meanwhile, she won two scholarships offered by Lions Club Parma (2016) and Soroptimist International – Club Parma (2018), a women’s association which aims at promoting human rights and culture. In the same year, since she has always had a keen interest for Chamber Music, mainly developed during her classes, she founded the Hoffman Trio to further broaden her experience. She attended different masterclasses with Stefano Pagliani, Kolya Lessing, Yves Savary, Alberto Miodini, Adrian Mustea, Enrico Bronzi, David Schultheiss, Ivan Rabaglia and Danusha Waskiewicz.
