Born in Italy in 2000, Giulia Cadei received her first bassoon lesson with Maestro Giorgio Versiglia. At the age of 20, she graduated with distinction from Gaetano Donizetti conservatory in Bergamo with the same professor. She has attended numerous masterclasses with maestri: Marco Postinghel, Sergio Azzolini, Klaus Thunemann, Carlo Colombo, Giorgio Mandolesi, Pedro Silva, Matthias Racz, Andrea Cellacchi and Stefano Canuti. She has played whit: orchestra A. Vivaldi di Valle Camonica, Futurorchestra (youth orchestra in Milan), Milanoclassica, OSCOM (symphony orchestra of the conservatory of Milan), Philarmonic of the International Piano Festival of Brescia and Bergamo and Orchestra Filarmonica italiana. In summer 2019 she participated in the AYO (Asian youth orchestra) taking part in the tour following the orchestra in the most important theaters in China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. In summer 2020 she participated with EUYO in the European Music Gallery Festival She is also a member of the QUartetto Acero 4.1, a bassoon quartet, that received first prize cum laude at the European Music Festival for Young People in Neerpelt.
