Yuliya Kazimirovich

Yuliya was born in 1996 in Minsk, Belarus. She started playing violin and piano at the age of 5. Currently she is studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna in the class of Alexandra Soumm. She holds a BA and a Master's Degree with honours from The Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdansk (class of Anna Wandtke and Karolina Piątkowska-Nowicka). She has worked with world-class violinists such as Yair Kless, Michael Frischenschlager, Joel Smirnoff, Eyal Kless, Agata Szymczewska.
Yuliya won coveted prizes at international violin competitions (winner of 1st prizes in Lugano, Moscow and London). She has been awarded with several music and cultural scholarships (Austria, Poland, USA). One of the most beautiful moments was to perform Brahms Violin Concerto with University Orchestra in Altes Konzertsaal in Vienna.
Her work as a soloist and passionate chamber musician has taken her to the most important concert halls in Europe, Asia, Africa and USA. In January 2020, she was invited as alumni of the Miami Music Festival to perform solo and with string quartet at Caribbean Islands Tour.
Yuliya has performed as concertmaster and as a member of the professional and youth orchestras such Miami Festival Orchestra, Mannheimer Philharmoniker, Vienna Ensemble, Polish Frideric Chopin Baltic Philharmonie, Grafenegg Academy Orchestra, World Youth Orchestra, Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, Baltic Sea Philharmonic. In 2022, she became a member of The European Union Youth Orchestra, Musethica Festival and The Benedetti Foundation.
