Laura Pastor Rocamora

Laura Pastor is a Spanish violinist born in València in 1996. She recently finished her master’s degree in Music and Violin Performance at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, with professor Jacqueline Ross. Her bachelor’s degree was done in her hometown Valencia, at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Joaquín Rodrigo, where she won the Final Bachelor’s Degree Award for violin. She has been developing her music career alongside Mirabai Weismehl Rosenfeld, Blagoja Dimcevski and Gjorgi Dimcevski, with whom she keeps working since 2015.
This year, Laura has won scholarship Andante, given by the Valencian International University, which will allow her to study her second master’s degree in Performance and Musical Research.
She is currently a collaborator with Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana and Orquestra de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya, and a member of the Spanish Youth National Orchestra and the Schleswig- Holstein Musik Festival Orchestra.
Alongside her string trio, they won the first prize at the Contest of the Festival Internacional de Música de Cámara de Godella in 2018, granted by Joan Enric Lluna and Carles Marín. Moreover, since 2019, Laura is the violin soloist of Música Empresonada, a performance organised by Dirección General de Cultura y Patrimonio de la Conselleria de Educación, Cultura y Deporte de la Generalitat Valenciana.
