Christina Scap (1998) is an austrian violist based in Salzburg. She started playing the violin at the age of 6 and started at the Pre-College of the Conservatory in Vorarlberg at the age of 13, where she switched to the Viola. In 2017 she started her bachelor’s degree at the University of Music and Theatre in Munich with Sara Kim, which she finished in 2021.
During that time, she also gained input from Violists such as Hartmut Rohde, Atar Arad, Thomas Selditz, Roland Glassl, Lars Anders Tomter and Hiyoli Togawa.
Currently she is studying at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg with Thomas Riebl for a master’s degree.
Christina Scap has performed with various Orchestras such as Wiener Jeunesse Orchester, JONDE (Spain), JOP (Portugal), Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and now joining EUYO as well.
