Karolina Bednarz is recognised as one of the most promising artists of the Polish young generation. As a talented and ambitious violist, she completed her Bachelor's degree with honours at Bacewicz Music Academy. She continued her Master's studies at Szymanowski Music Academy. She also perfected her artistic workshop at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and during numerous masterclasses with virtuosos such as Andriy Viytovych, Ásdís Valdimarsdóttir, Katarzyna Budnik, Michał Bryła, Timur Yakubov, and Vicki Powell.
Throughout her studies, Karolina was awarded many prizes at national competitions. Her play absorbs people's attention because of her ability to make "beautiful, open and well-projecting viola sound with lots of colour. She has a very special, delicate side to her playing that is a rare.” Acquired skills allowed her to become a member of multiple projects, by naming a few: Musethica, SDG Youth Orchestra, and European Union Youth Orchestra.
She gained orchestral skills at many places such as NFM Orchestral Academy, Baltic Neopolis Orchestra, Primuz String Orchestra. She is currently completing an orchestral internship in the prestigious NOSPR Academy. Karolina is a musician full of passion for discovering and studying art trends of any possible kind. She eagerly involves herself in the performance of both contemporary and early music.
