Eva Chumachenko

Eva was born in 2003 in Sofia, Bulgaria.She started playing piano at the age of 5 and two years later enrolled at the National Music School “Lubomir Pipkov”. She has won awards from competitions and played in concerts, when at the age of 11 she started playing viola with professor Stefan Jilkov from the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov". As a violist she acquired various techniques and extensive repertoire in a very short time and proceeded to win multiple competitions all around the country.

In 2019 she participated in the first edition of Concertgebouworkest (RCO) Young orchestra, which culminated in concerts at Het Concertgebouw, Amsterdam and Flagey, Brussels, conducted by Pablo Heras-Casado.

Eva has participated multiple times in the International Summer Academy Allegra, Rouse. She has attended master classes with professors and musicians Diyang Mei, Wolfgang Klos, Michael Gieler, Rumen Cvetkov, Alexander Zemcov. Eva also participated in recordings for Classic FM Radio.
