David Pérez

David Pérez Giménez was born in 1997 in Yecla (Murcia). He began his musical studies with 9 years old at the local music school. Then, he continued at the Conservatory "Jerónimo Mesenguer", placed in Almansa. When he was 18, he started the bachelor degree at the High Conservatory of Music of Castilla-La Mancha, in Albacete, with the following teachers: Jose Manuel Escobar, Carlos Megías, José Antonio García and Manuel Blanco. At the same time he was studying in the Brass Academy Alicante, with Rudolf Korp(ex-principal trumpet in Tönkunstler Orquestra, Vienna) and Martin Angerer(current principal trumpet in Bayerischen Rundkfuns Orchestra, Múnich). At this time, David is assistant teacher in this academy.
During his studying period he has received several awards in national competitions of young talented musicians.
At the moment, David works as freelance playing in orchestras like Malmö Symphony, ADDA Simfònica, Orquesta Sinfónica Ciudad de Elche, Orquesta Sinfónica del Gran Teatro del Liceo, Orquesta Sinfónica del Vallés, among others.
He is, as well, curren member in JONDE (Spanish National Youth Orchestra) and reserve member in GMJO (Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester).
