Marta Montes Sanz

Marta was born in Segovia in 2001 and started playing the horn in 2009. She obtained a high school diploma in 2018 in La Granja, Segovia, and a professional degree in horn at the Segovia music conservatory. Currently, she is a student at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, where she studies with Radovan Vlatković and Rodolfo Epelde. She has received clasess from Marie-Luise Neunecker (teacher in Berlin) and other mentors like Jose Vicente Castelló, José Miguel Asensi, Javier Molina, Alberto Menéndez, Jorge Monte de Fez, Stephan Dohr, Saar Berger and Peter Erdei. She collaborated with orchestras such as OSCYL (Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León), OSM (Orquesta sinfónica de Madrid), OSG (Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia). She performed with conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Peter Eötvos, Jorge Rotter, Pablo Heras-Casado, Marc Minkowski, Enno Poppe, Pablo González, James Conlon and Johannes Kalitzke.
