Sara D'Amico was born in Pescara on the 1st of April 2001. She began the study of the harp at the age of 7 with M. Lucia Antonacci in Città Sant'Angelo until the age of 16.
During this time in Italy, she won many prestigious awards of international competitions such as Suoni d’arpa, Marcel Tournier, Concours National de la Harpe and others.
At the age of 16 she passed the admission test to study in the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon with Fabrice Pierre, Sylvain Blassel and Park Stickney.
Here in France she was able to discover her great passion for the orchestra: for two consecutive years she won the audition of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester GMJO which took her around Europe passing through the greatest concert halls.
Sara also has the opportunity to play with professional musicians such as the Colibrì Ensemble in Italy, the Opéra de Lyon in France, the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra in Estonia and the Tunisian Symphonique Orchestras in Tunisia.
