Tommaso Gaeta

Tommaso was born in 1999 in Rome and started his studies with Professor Paolo Rossi at the Conservatory of l’Aquila.
He then studied with Andrea Oliva at Corsi di Perfezionamento of Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.
Tommaso started to play in youth orchestras since 13. From 2012 to 2017 he has been part of the “JuniOrchestra” of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, and from 2018 to 2020 he has been 1st flute of the “Orchestra Giovanile Italiana”. He collaborated with many professional orchestras such as “Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese”, “Orchestra Giovanile di Roma” , “Orchestra la Philarmonie di Firenze”. He has worked with many eminents conductors and musicians, among them, Daniele Gatti, Kolja Blacher, Alexei Ogrintchouk, Alexander Lonquich, and Sir Antonio Pappano. He attended many masterclasses with important figures like Rien de Reede, Andrea Oliva, Tommaso Pratola, Giampaolo Pretto, Nicola Campitelli and Silvia Careddu.
