Mar Bonet Silvestre
The Spanish cellist Mar Bonet-Silvestre benefits from the influence of her entire family of musicians, who deeply educated her in the music world from
a very early age. Her performances aim to combine the uniqueness of the classical music traditions with value-based productions across artistic
expressions, communicating the need for raising mental and discriminating actual issues and debates across socio-cultural borders.
She was born in Valencia in December 1998 but grew up in Madrid, where she started her musical education by the age of 4 firstly taught by her mother. She was then a student of Pilar Navarro, Adolfo Gutierrez and Raúl Pinillos, completing her preliminary studies with the Spanish National Award.
She was accepted to Queen Sofía School of Music by the age of 17, where she studied under the tuition of Ivan Monighetti and completed her bachelor studies with Professor Jens Peter Maintz and Fernando Arias by 2020.
