William Norris

William Norris was appointed Communications Lead for the EUYO in May 2022. He has worked for a wide range of music and cultural organisations, with recent clients including Sage Gateshead, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra (USA), Scottish Ensemble and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. He has held the positions of Chief Executive (Maternity Cover) for Scottish Ensemble, Managing Director of Southbank Sinfonia, and Managing Director of the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and Chamber Choir, Canada’s leading period instrument ensemble. Prior to this he led marketing, communications and creative programming at the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, including developing their acclaimed audience development series, The Night Shift.
