Hanna Daub, born in 2002, started to play the Cello at the age of 9. She received her fist cello lessons from Barbara Rieger at the local music school in Tübingen.
In 2019 she joined the class of Prof. Tristan Cornut at the HMDK Stuttgart as a young student. After graduating from high school in 2020, she stayed in Stuttgart to continue her cello studies there.
Hanna took part in the national competition Jugend Musiziert as a soloist and as a chamber musician several times and won a second prize there in 2019.
Numerous masterclasses, for example with Prof. Wen-Sinn Yang, Prof. Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt and Prof. Troels Svane, had an deep impact on Hannas musical work. In this context, she also participated in the Cello Academy in Rutesheim.
Hanna has already had the opportunity to gain extensive orchestral experience, for example as principal cellist of the Baden- Württemberg State Youth Orchestra or as a member of the German National Youth Orchestra and now at the European Union Youth Orchestra.
