Sofia Bartolini

Sofia Bartolini was born in 1997 in Genova (Italy). She started to study music at the age of 7 and as 13 years old she began to study the bassoon at the Conservatorio di musica G.Puccini di La Spezia with Davide Maia. 
After few years followed by Valentino Zucchiatti, solo-bassoon at Teatro alla Scala Milano, in 2016 she decided to move to Germany and study with him at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln where she completed her Bachelor's degree in 2020.
From 2020 until 2022 Sofia studied a Master's degree at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim with Prof. Ole K. Dahl. Actually she is a member of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala.
She attended masterclasses of Georg Klütsch, Albrecht Holder, Sophie Dervaux, Raffaele Giannotti and Gabriele Screpis.
Sofia played as soloist with the Orchestra Ferruccio Busoni in 2021. She mainly focused in the orchestra playing collaborating with numerous orchestras including Cameristi della Scala, Filarmonica della Scala, Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, Teatro la Fenice di Venezia, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova, Teatro Verdi Trieste, Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo and Les Musiciens du Prince.
