Gabrielė Bekerytė

Gabrielė Bekerytė is a Lithuanian pianist currently studying at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and she will be continuing her master’s studies at the Universität der Künste Berlin in October 2023. 
A native of Vilnius, Gabrielė started playing piano at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts and then continued her music journey at The Purcell School in London, UK with full scholarship. She then went on to study at the Royal Academy of Music, London and graduated her bachelor studies in 2020. 
Over her years of playing piano Gabrielė has been a very versatile pianist and she performed extensively as a solo, chamber music, and orchestral pianist. Some of her performances include Prokofiev’s 3rd piano concerto with Daniel Capps at Duke’s Hall, Royal Academy of Music, chamber music and orchestral piano performances with the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra members, as well as performing with the Baltic Sea Philharmonic in major festivals and halls across Europe and outside (Philharmonie, Kozerthaus Berlin, Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, DR Concert Hall Copenhagen, Dubai Opera, Emirates Palace in UAE) and playing and working in recordings, such as Max Richter’s “Exiles”.
