Hadewych de Vos
Hadewych de Vos (1999) is a Dutch violinist. She began playing the violin at the age of five and studied with Koosje van Haeringen at the Young Talent department of the Royal Conservatory of The Hague until she was sixteen years old. She then became a student of Vera Beths, with whom she completed her bachelor studies at the conservatory of The Hague in 2021. Hadewych is currently following the master program at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with both Vera Beths and Tjeerd Top. Besides, she is exploring the baroque violin under the guidance of Emmanuel Resche-Caserta.
From an early age Hadewych has played in orchestras, such as the Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands (JON). During her studies she took part in several projects of the National Youth Orchestra (NJO), twice as (co-)principal. Hadewych participated in several (international) masterclasses and competitions. In 2014 she won the third prize at the Iordens Dutch Violin competition. She has received masterclasses from violinists such as Rainer Küchl, Stephan Picard, Baiba Skride, Rosanne Philippens, Daniel Rowland, Ulf Wallin and Philippe Graffin. With her former string quartet she received lessons from musicians of renowned ensembles including Quatuor Danel, Cuarteto Casals and the Jerusalem Quartet.
In July 2021, Hadewych also completed her bachelor degree ‘Life, Science & Technology’ at the Universities of Leiden and Delft.
