Clara Eglhuber

The german cellist Clara Eglhuber, born in 2001, is currently studying at the university of arts in Berlin with Prof. Konstantin Heidrich. Since 2009 she won prizes in national and international competitions (3rd prize in the International Music Competition Musica Goritiensis 2022) for cello and composition and took part in masterclasses with teachers like Prof. Troels Svane, Prof. Danjulo Ishizaka, Prof. Sebastian Klinger, Prof. Eberhard Feltz and Prof. Thomas Grossenbacher. Her experiences in national and international orchestras like the ""Junge Deutsche Philharmonie"" and chamber music projects like in Kronberg Academy made her to perform in Italy, England, Japan, France and the Netherlands.
Since 2020 she plays also the baroque cello and took part in projects of the Balthasar - Neumann - Ensemble and of the ensemble ilinx (studio for contemporary music of the UdK Berlin).
Since 2018 she plays a cello from H.C. Sylvestre which the „Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben“ provides her and she is scholarship holder of the International Music Academy Liechtenstein, the Paul - Hindemith foundation Berlin and Yehudi Menuhin LIVE MUSIC NOW e.V.
