Serena Flore
Serena Flore was born in Cagliari in 2000. She began playing the horn at the age of 10 at the Conservatorio G. P. da Palestrina di Cagliari, where she simoultaneously studied piano until 2020. The same year she completed her Bachelor Degree in Horn and later moved to Lugano (Switzerland), where she began studying with Alessio Allegrini at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana. In 2022 she received her Master of Arts in Music Performance, and is currently attending the Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy.
Serena performed with many orchestras, such as Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese, Orchestra da Camera di Lugano and Young Musician European Orchestra (YMEO), and took part in the Mortitzburg Festival Academy 2022, the Musikfestwoche Meiringen 2022 and the Rencontres musicales de Mediterranèe en Corse in 2016 and 2017.
She was able to perfect her technique with Natalino Ricciardo, Sandro Ceccarelli, Lorenzo Panebianco and David Johnson.
She is eligible for the Complesso musicale di Palcoscenico del Teatro alla Scala di Milano and, in 2023, became a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO).
