Clara Isabel Gris Sánchez

Clara Isabel Gris Sánchez was born into a family of musicians and began playing the violin at the age of 5, receiving lessons from violinists from the Seville Symphony Orchestra (ROSS) and Sergey Teslya (exconcertmaster of the National Orchestra of Spain). At the age of 12, she is selected to attend classes at the Barenboim-Said Foundation in Seville, where she receives Masterclasses from violinists from Staatskapelle Berlin, such as Klaus Peters and Mathis Fischer.
In 2016 she began her bachelor's studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock, in Germany, in the class of Pauline Reguig and later changed to Henja Semmler’s class.
In February 2018 she moved to Vienna and finished her bachelor studies at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien, in Vienna (Austria) in the class of Henja Semmler and also receiving classes from Dominika Falger.
She currently continues to attend the Masterclasses at the Barenboim-Said Foundation in Seville, being a student of Mirelys Morgan (concertgebouw orkest) and Jun Yin Cho (Gewandhaus Orchester).

She has been a member of different national and international youth orchestras such as the Andalucía Youth Orchestra (2014-2020) as concertmaster on various occasions; Wiener Jeunesse Orchestra (2019); Young National Orchestra of Spain (2021-present) being head of second violins; Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra (2022); Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra (2022).
She has collaborated with professional orchestras such as Staatsphilarmonie Nürnberg.
