Gabriela Matoušková
Gabriela was born in Prague, Czech republic. She is currently studying with Florent Héau and Franck Amet in Paris and Milan Polák at the Prague conservatory.
She has gained a lot of orchestral experience as a member of orchestral academy of Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra since she was 17 years old. In 2022 she was chosen in an audition for a principal clarinetist in Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra.
Gabriela attended masterclasses with clarinetists such as Wenzel Fuchs, Andrew Marriner, Sharon Kam or Pascal Moraguès. On ISA masterclasses held by MDW in Austria, she was chosen to play in a wind quintet with André Cazalet, Dag Jensen, Christopher Wetzel and Andrea Lieberknecht.
She recieved prizes from numerous international competitions, for example Markneukirchen Wettbewerb 2016, Concorso internazionale per clarinetto Carlino 2017, Concertino Praga 2017, Medici International Music Competition 2022.
She's also a recipient of the Yamaha scholarship.
As a prize winner in Concertino Praga competition, she took part in South Bohemia festival tour.
She appeared as a soloist with Orchestra of Prague Castle guards and Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra.
In 2022 she also presented herself with a recital on a Showcase held by Dvořákova Praha International Music Festival under the patronage of hornist Radek Baborák.
