David Ruiz Del Canto

David Ruiz Del Canto was born in València, Spain in 2004. He began to study violin and piano at the age of four. He studied violin at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Torrent with Professors Rubén Herrero and Carmen Antequera until he was 14 years old, as he obtained a scholarship at the Piccoli Virtuosi high-performance school in Switzerland to study for three years with violinists and teachers like Miguel Negri, Andrey Baranov, Andrés Gabetta and Pavel Vernikov.
He is currently a member of the Valencian Youth Orchestra (JOGV), the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community (FSMCV YSO) and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the University of Valencia (OFUV). He has been the concertmaster in all of them on several occasions.
He is currently in first year of his Bachelor's Degree at ESMAR (Escuela Superior de Música de Alto Rendimiento) with Professor Carmen Antequera. He has received courses and masterclasses from Sebastian Müller, Alejandro Bustamante, Savva Fatkulin and Miguel Borrego, among others.
