Anna Toporkiewicz-Muras
Anna Toporkiewicz-Muras is a very talented and promising violinist of the young generation, who is characterised by ambition and extraordinary musical sensitivity. Currently, she is associated with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice and the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra. The violinist graduated with honors studies at the G. and K. Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź in the class of prof. Tomasz Król. She is a laureate of many national and international competitions. She is a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the „Young Poland” program. She developed her skills during many workshops with such professors as: Agata Szymczewska, Alvaro Parra, Zsolt-Tihamér Visontay, Bomsori Kim and others. In 2018, she was invited by the Boston Music Institute to take part in masterclasses at the Berlin Philharmonic. She has collaborated with many orchestras such as I.Culture Orchestra, Neue Philharmonie München, Santander Orchestra. She has worked many times under the supervision of outstanding conductors and composers: Marin Alsop, Krzysztof Penderecki, Marta Gardolińska, Domingo Hindoyan, Paolo Bortolameolli, Simone Young. Anna conducts a lively artistic activity, performing also as a soloist during the X Festival Europeo de Jovenes Solistas 2022 en Caracas, 23. L. van Beethoven Easter Festival, Festival Radio France. The artist has performed, among others, in: Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Bozar in Brussels, Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.
