I come from a small town just outside of Gothenburg called Landvetter. I started playing the clarinet at 8 years old for my grandfather and started to have lessons in the communal music school around that time as well. After a few years I was accepted to my regions Youth Orchestra and developed a real interest for classical music. With them I got to be a part of several inspiring projects, such as collaborating with the Gothenburg Opera, and playing Side by Side with the Concertgebouw Orkest. At such a young age this was truly inspiring. I moved from home to study clarinet for Tomas Johansson in Vänersborg at 16 years old. There I played in orchestras and did some local competitions. After graduating I was accepted to the Royal College of Music where I am currently in the 2nd year of my Bachelor’s. Here I have played for Andreas Sundén, Johan Fransén and currently Hermann Stefansson. Last year (2022) I was a competitor in Odense for the Carl Nielsen International Clarinet Competition. Then I spent the summer with Orkester Norden in Finland. I have played in masterclasses with several prominent teachers such as; Yehuda Gilad, Martin Fröst, Hermann Stefansson, Nicolas Baldeyrou, Phillipe Berroud. I dream of becoming a professional clarinetist, either as a soloist or an orchestral musician.
