Jeremias Zöhrer

Jeremias was born in a small village called Fließ in 2002. He began his musical studies at the age of 6.

In 2016, at the age of 14, Jeremias started with the Precollege at the Tiroler Landeskonservatorium and simultaneously entered Musikgymnasium Innsbruck, which is a Highschool for musicians. Currently he is studying Bachelor in Innsbruck.

Jeremias recieved prices at the Italy PAS Competition in the category for Snare Drum and for Vibraphone. In the year 2019 he became the winner of the competition prima la musica, an austrian competition and was honored with a special award given by the judges. In 2020 Jeremias joined the national youth orchestra of Austria, called the Wiener Jeunesse Orchester. Since 2022 he substitutes for the TSOI. Jeremias is a member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester and performed with the orchestra, conducted by Teodor Currentzis, at the Salzburger Festspiele. 
He also performed with Windkraft, an ensemble for contemporary music. In 2022 he played stage music for the Bavarian State Orchestra the first time.

Jeremias joined various masterclasses such as the International Orchestra Institute Attergau, the SAOS Academy or Percussion meets Identity.
