Dante Magli

Dante Magli was born in Bergamo (Italy), on July the 7th, 2000. He started studying music at six by playing piano and then started playing horn at eight under the guidance of his father. In 2011 he was admitted at the conservatory ""G. Donizetti"" of Bergamo in the horn class of Maestro Massimo Capelli till 2013, when he started musical high school. After graduating fro high school, he started again attending the Conservatory of Bergamo. In 2022 he obtained his bachelor degree with an evaluation of 110 cum laude. 

Since 2015 he has been a member of the Brass Group of the Conservatory in Bergamo, under the direction of Maestro Ermes Giussani and he attended masterclasses and courses that allowed him to meet several internationally renowned musicians such as: Dale Clevenger, Andrea Corsini, Frank Lloyd, Guglielmo Pellarin, Andrea Cesari, Vladimiro Cainero, Roberto Miele, Loris Antiga, Paolo Valeriani and Nilo Caracristi.

He played under the direction of many important musicians and conductors like Alexander Lonquich, Nicolas Altstaedt, Donato Renzetti, Enrico Dindo, Carlo Boccadoro, Alessandro Taverna.

He is currently attending the horn Master in Cuneo under the guide of Maestro Paolo Valeriani.

He started playing with orchestras when he was 18 years old and he's still collaborating with many orchestras in Italy such as ""Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana"" and ""Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico"" where he was found eligible in the audition in June 2022.
