Damien Muller
Damien Muller, born on March 25 in 1999 is native from Luxembourg. He starts to learn french horn in 2005 with Steve Boehm. After graduating in the middle division of the system, he continues his studies at the conservatory of Luxembourg city with Patrick Coljon in the upper division, where he already had lessons of piano and chamber music. Damien is the winner of the editions of 2012 and 2014 of the competition Petites Mains Symphoniques in Paris. So, Damien was principal horn in the orchestra from 2012 to 2016. In 2013, he wins in the first division in the international competition from UGDA (Union Grand-Duc Adolphe) in Luxembourg with the mention “excellent”, the gold medal and the SACEM prize. In 2017 he graduates at the conservatory of Luxembourg and wins the audition for the European Union Youth Orchestra Summer school.
Since September 2018, Damien studies with Jörg Brückner at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar (Germany).
In November 2018, he wins the audition at Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and gets member of the high horn section.
Damien has been a trainee at Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg from 2019 to 2020 and member of the EUYO since 2019.
