David Cano Barranco

David was born in Seville, Spain in 1995. He started the musical lesson at the age of 6, taught by his father and his brother (percussion's teacher).

Subsequently, he began his medium musical lesson in the Conservatorio Profesional de Música "Ramón Garay", Jaén. After finishing his medium studies he entered in the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón (CSMA) with the teachers César Peris, Francisco Inglés and Verónica Cagigao, he finished his bachelor with honors.

Actually, he is student in "Academia de Estudios Orquestales Barenboim-Said" (prof. Torsten Schönfeld and Dominic Oelze), he also did lessons with Raymond Curfs, Andy Barcley, Pilippe Spiesser, Eric Sammut or Jean-Claude Gengembre. For ten years, he was member of the "Joven Academia de la Orquesta Ciudad de Granada (prof. Jaume Esteve and Noelia Arco).

He joined the EUYO for the Spring Tour 2018.

He also is member of the "Joven Orquesta Nacional de España (JONDE)" and has been member of the "Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival" and "Orquesta Joven de Andalucia". He was timpani in the "Sommer Oper Bamberg (Germany)". David´s professional experience goes in the "Orquesta de la Comunitat Valenciana y Palau de les Arts" (Valencia), the "Orquesta de Radio Televisión Española", "Orquesta Ciudad de Granada", "Orquesta de Córdoba", among others. He was member in the "Ensamble of Chamber Music of Jaen". He was playing under the batons of famous conductors such as Vasiliv Petrenko, Manfred Honeck, Giananandrea Nosseda, Christoph Eschenbach, Pablo Heras Casado, Pablo González, Michael Thomas, Hernández Silva, Yaron Traub, Péter Csaba, Salvador Mas, Douglas Bostock, Aansjörg Schellenberger, Jose Luis Temes, Maximo Raccanelli, or pianist and conductor Andras Schiff.
