Abel Cruz

At the age of 8 Abel had his first violin lessons.

They were with the teachers Belén Villanueva and Alfonso Ordieres at the Music School San Martin de Valdeiglesias in Madrid.

In 2006 he began his studies at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música “Rodolfo Halffter” in Móstoles (Madrid, Spain). with Prof. Francisco de Tapia. Completion and acquisition of the Honorary Graduation Award in 2012.

In 2013, study place at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid (Spain) with Prof. Joaquín Torre. In 2015 he obtained the Erasmus scholarship at the Musik Hochschule "Robert Schumann" in Düsseldorf (Germany)  with lecturer Noé Inui.

In 2017 Bachelor graduation with excellent grades in the major subject Violin at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid (Spain). In 2017, study place as part of a master's program (artistic Education) at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg (Germany) with  Prof. Hildegard Wind.

While studying, he attended lessons with renowned teachers like Raphael Kishmatulin, Philipp Bohnen, Hans Werner Mehling, Ilya Kaler, Joaquín Torre, Hildegard Wind, Juan Llinares, Cibrán Sierra, Sergei Fatkulin, Lutsja Ibrahimova, among others.
