Ana Gavilán

Ana was born in Córdoba in 2000 and studied in Lucena with María Fernandez Bueno,finishing her studies with an honorable mention in the oboe speciality.

In 2018 after finishing her studies, she started her Bachelor at Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler (Berlin), under the tutelage of Dominik Wollenweber.

She has been member of several youth Orchestras such us Andalucia Youth Orchestra, “Academia Orquesta Ciudad de Granada”, European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), Zermatt Music Festival and Academy and Joven Orquesta Nacional de España (JONDE). She was also member of Academia Barenboim-Said, Seville.

She has participated in profesional Orchestras such as West Eastern Divan Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia (OSG) Orquesta Ciudad de Granada (OCG) and she has worked with great conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Vasily Petrenko, Juan Jose Mena, Joseph Swensen, Lahav Shani, Pablo Gonzalez, Manuel Hernández Silva, etc.
She has performed in theatres such us Philarmonie Berlin , Carnegie Hall, Teatro Colón, Philarmonie de Paris, Royal Albert Hall, KKL (Lucerna),Maestra de Sevilla, etc.
