Florian Bartl

Florian Bartl has been a member of the EUYO since 2019.
Born in 1995 in Frankfurt am Main, he started his studies in 2015 with Prof. Elisabeth Kufferath (Member of the Tetzlaff Quartet) at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover and has just finished his Bachelor at the Musikhochschule Freiburg with Prof. Gottfried von der Goltz.

During his studies he has participated in various masterclasses with renowned violinists such as Prof. Ingolf Turban, Prof. Anke Dill and Prof. Friedemann Eichhorn, including chamber music masterclasses with Prof. Günther Pichler (Alban Berg Quartet) and Prof. Oliver Wille (Kuss-Quartet).

Florian is an experienced orchestral musician, performing as a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Germany, Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and the European Union Youth Orchestra. He has worked with conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Howards Griffiths, Alondra de la Parra, Stéphane Denève, Vasily Petrenko, Marin Alsop, Ingo Metzmacher and Lothar Zagrosek.
