Léon Haffner

Former Concertmaster of Orchestre Français des Jeunes (2017-2018), Léon Haffner was born in Lyon, began with piano at 5, and started violin two years later.

Atfer his studies in Conservatoire de Lyon, he enters the Conservatoire National Supérieur of Paris, unanimously,  in Alexis Galperine's class. Passionate with orchestra and chamber music, he is invited by the Bundesjugendorchester, conducted by Sir Simon Rattle.

He plays in Europe, in concert halls like Berlin Konzerthaus and Philharmony, Paris or Köln Philharmonies and realizes mediation projects. He took part of masterclasses with Boris Garlitsky, Ulf Wallin and Quatuor Modigliani. He follows his carreer by playing regularly in the Orchestre National d'Ile-de-France.
