Achille Fait was born in December 1998 in Rovereto (Italy) and began his horn studies at the age of 13. In 2012 he started attending the Conservatorio F. A.Bonporti of Trento studying with Vittorio Schiavone until now.
In 2017 he won a scholarship in Spain and now he’s also studying at the Brass Academy in Alicante with Nury Guarnaschelli. He had many masterclasses with maestros like Froydis Ree Weckre, José Sogorb, Danilo Stagni, Sarah Willis and Stefan Dohr. He won many international competitions in Italy and abroad.
On various occasions he has performed as Principal Horn with several orchestras and chamber music formations including the I Cameristi della Scala, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, Orchestra Giuseppe Verdi di Milano, Orchestra Nazionale dei Conservatori Italiani and as Third Horn with the Orchestra Filarmonica del Teatro alla Scala and LaFil- Filarmonica di Milano. From the age of seventeen he works regularly with La Scala theatre, where he played many times with the ensemble “I Corni della Scala”, the Orchestra dei Cameristi della Scala and the Orchestra Filarmonica del Teatro alla Scala.
He has played in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Europe like the Barbican Centre in London, Philharmonie de Paris, Teatro alla Scala, Bartok National Concert Hall in Budapest, Musikverein in Wien, Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and Auditorio National di Madrid. He played with many Maestros like Riccardo Chailly, Peter Eötvos, Sir Jeffrey Tate, Franz Welser-Möst, Vladimir Jurowski, Daniele Gatti and Daniel Harding and with many soloists like Denis Matsuev, Lisa Batiashvili and Daniil Trifonov.
