Barbara Udovčić was born in Zagreb in 1993. She started playing violin at the age of nine, and studied with professors Karlo Veliki and Ljubinko Đurić. In 2012, she entered the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb and studied with prof. Anđelko Krpan. Two years after, she transferred to the Arts Academy of the University of Split in the class of prof. Evgenia Epshtein. She has participated in masterclasses with Valentina Goncharova, Barbara Doll, Enrico Onofri, Dragan Radosavljević, Vida Vujić, Eva Bindere, Tristan Thery. She played in various orchestras and ensembles such as Col Legno ensemble for contemporary music, Zagreb Jazz Strings with Sigi Feigl in Austria, Virtuosos of Split with Wladimir Kossjanenko in Croatia and Germany, and the Sensus festival orchestra with conductor Karel Mark Chichon in Latvia. She participated in solo and chamber music competitions: National solo competition (2. prize), National chamber music competition (duo with guitarist Goran Stefanović, 1. prize), Tirando con pizzicato in Poreč (1. prize), Alion International Baltic Festival competition in Tallinn (KNS recording prize), International Concorso Salieri competition in Legnago, Italy (2. prize). In 2020, she was accepted as a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra, and in a string trio she performed at the European Music Gallery Festival. Currently, she is a member of the Croatian National Theatre orchestra in Split, and Virtuosos of Split chamber ensemble.
