Anastasia Deligiannaki was born in Athens in 1995. She received her first cello lessons at the age of 11 from cellist Marina Kislitsina. In 2014 she graduated with honors from the "Kolova" Conservatory. Since 2015, she has been studying in the class of Daniel Geiss at the Hoschule für Musik Mainz and the Peter Cornelius Conservatory, where she graduated in the summer of 2018 with a degree in cello pedagogy. In September 2020, she graduated her Bachelor's degree in Orchestra Performance from the Hochschule für Musik Mainz with honors.
Twice (2014 and 2018) she won the first prize in the prestigious competition "Maria Chairogiorgou-Sigara" in Athens. She gained valuable experience in master classes with Prof. Stephan Popov (Sofia), Prof. Ulrich Voss (Pelion Festival and Berlin) and Leo Winland. She is a member of the orchestras "Kifisia String Orchestra" and "Klassische Philharmonie Bonn" and has also performed as a soloist with both orchestras. She also had her first project with the Greek National Youth Orchestra in March 2021. She is a EUYO member since 2020. She is now studying her Master's degree at the Musikhochschule in Düsseldorf, Germany, in the class of Prof. Gregor Horsch (principal cellist in the Concertgebouw Orchestra). The John S. Latsis Foundation is supporting her with a full scholarship for her entire studies of her Master's Degree.
Moreover, she is a student of the Faculty of Greek Philology and Linguistics at the National and Kapodestrian University of Athens.
