Verena Stöckl

Verena Stöckl (*19.06.1996) received her first instrumental lessons at the age of seven. From 2010 - 2015 she studied Violin with Prof. Albert Fischer at the Anton-Bruckner-Privatuniversität.

2015 she started studying at the University of Performing Arts Vienna as a student of Prof. Thomas Fheodoroff. Her greatest successes are the first price at the International Violin Competition Vása Prihoda and the special price for the qualifying piece of Martinú. Verena was awarded many first prices at the Austrian youth competition Prima la Musica, as a soloist and a chamber musician.

Furthermore, she attended several master classes in Austria and Germany with Tanja Becker-Bender, Sebastian Schmidt, Yair Kless and Joanna Kamenarska. In 2014 she won the audition for the Wiener Jeunesse Orchester and from 2017 to 2018 she was concert master of the Upper Austrian Youth Orchestra. Since 2019 she is able to substitute in the Bruckner Orchester Linz. Verena Stöckl played on many concert tours, which led her throughout Valencia, Malta, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Rumania and Abu Dhabi and Shanghai.
