Lucrezia Costanzo

Born in Catania in 2001, she began her violin studies at the age of 9 with M. Alessandro Cortese. At the age of 10 she immediately started to partecipate in several national and international competition. In 2012 she was admitted to the Istituto Superiore di studi musicali "Vincenzo Bellini" in Catania with full marks. Later she moved to Modena to continue her studies with M. Stefano Pagliani.
Currently she is enrolled in the Bruno Maderna Conservatory of Cesena and she won an Erasmus admission to continue her studies at the prestigious mdw-Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien under the teaching of great musician as Ernst Kovacic, Sabine Windbacher, Sibila Konstantinova. She has participated in several solo masterclasses with Shlomo Mintz, Ilya Grubert, Francesco De Angelis. She has played as an orchestral for renowned soloists such as Martha Argerich, Beatrice Rana, Jess Gillam, Håkan Hardenberger, Danilo Rossi, Ricardo Pires, Javier Perianes, Daniel Rivera, Anna Kravtchenko, with conductors as Marin Alsop, Vasily Petrenko, Gianandrea Noseda, Donato Renzetti, Alessandro Cedrone, James Meena, Gianna Fratta, and she has collaborated with directors as Enrico Stinchelli and Alessandro Cecchi Paone. She played at several Festival like the Opera Star Festival città di Taormina and Stresa Festival. She has won several auditions for regional, national and European orchestras. Since 2020 she is a member of the prestigious European youth orchestra EUYO and she won the audition for Brandenburger Symphoniker in Brandenburg. Recently she won a scholarship from the Rotary Club for young talent in her conservatory.
