Roman Żuchowicz was born in 1994 in Warsaw, Poland. In the primary and middle schools of music his teachers were Stanisława Janas (violin), Joanna Okoń (violin), Michał Styczyński (viola) and Piotr Reihert (viola). Since two years he is an alumnus of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the classes of Ryszard Duź and Katarzyna Budnik.
He has been a laureate of Wrocław Competition (2011 – honourable mention and 2013 – 3rd price) and Skierniewice Competition (2011 – 3rd price and 2012 – 2nd price).
Also he has been a participant of Zenon Brzewski International Music Courses in Łańcut in the classes of Walentyna Jakubowska (violin), Danuta Głowacka-Pitet (violin) and Stefan Kamasa (viola). In 2014/’15 he has participated in 3rd edition of the Sinfonia Varsovia Academy and in the master classes conducted by Mr. Wilfried Strehle at the headquarters of Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra.
Nowdays Roman Żuchowicz is a member of the Jerzy Semkow Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra since two years and the Chopin University Chamber Orchestra since three years.
