Simon Reinink
After having completed his Law Degree at the University of Utrecht in 1991 where he focused on Dutch Private Law and Musicology, Simon Reinink (1966) began his career as an attorney at De Brauw and held various management positions at Wolters Kluwer and ThiemeMeulenhoff.
He was appointed Managing Director of the Concertgebouw in 2006. He is Chairman of the G. Ribbius Peletier Jr. Foundation for the preservation of Linschoten Estate, Chairman of the 4 May Concert Foundation and a member of numerous boards such as the Nexus Institute, National Music Instrument Fund, and ISPA (International Society for the Performing Arts).
Annually the Royal Concertgebouw welcomes about 725.000 visitors and hosts about 900 concerts/events of which about 550 are presented by the Royal Concertgebouw.
