Francesco Lucantoni was born in 1995. In July 2015 he graduated with full marks (10/10) in horn studies from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. In April 2019 he finished his studies concluding the Master Degree in French horn at ISSM Rinaldo Franci in Siena, graduating with full marks (110/110 cum laude) in the class of Professor Gabriele Falcioni. He took part in several master classes taught by: Gabriele Falcioni, Alessio Allegrini, Radek Baborák, Andrea Albori, Thomas Hauschild, Jonathan Williams. He collaborated and frequently collaborates with various institutions including: Orchestra Regionale Toscana, Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese, Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia, Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini, FORM Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, Fondazione Lirico Sinfonica Petruzzelli. In November 2019 he performed the Konzerstück for 4 Horns by Schumann with the ISSM Rinaldo Franci Orchestra. He played under the direction of several conductors such as: Riccardo Muti, Roland Böer, Luigi Piovano, Donato Renzetti, Daniele Rustioni. At present he regularly studies with Maestro Zoltán Mácsai, solo-horn of the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden.
