Lucas Gioanni began playing the bassoon at the age of 6 at the Toulon regional conservatory. He quickly joined the conservatory orchestra and obtained his diploma of musical studies at the age of 16.
In Toulon, he worked with Jean Louis Estier and Didier Malbec.
In parallel to his musical studies, Lucas joined a nursing school from 2014 to 2016 and then entered the Conservatoire regional of Paris in Laurent Lefèvre's class.
In 2017, he joined the bassoon class of Laurent Lefèvre and Fany Maselli at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.
In 2018 his interest in teaching led him to join the State Diploma course to become a teacher.
Passionate about the orchestra, he plays in renowned orchestras such as the French Youth Orchestra, the Toulon Opera Orchestra, the Paris Chamber Orchestra, the Bordeaux Aquitaine Orchestra and l’Orchestre de Paris.
In 2019, he performs as a soloist with the Toulon Opera Orchestra and is selected for the Prague Spring Festival competition.
In 2020, he obtained his bassoon degree with honors at the CNSMDP and is currently pursuing his master's degree there.
Since August 2020, he is one of the founding members of the Chamber Orchestra of the Ile de Groix where he plays as bassoon solo.
