Isabel Zaragoza Meseguer
Isabel Zaragoza Meseguer was born in Callosa de Segura (Spain) in 2001. She began her musical studies at Sociedad de Arte Musical “La Filarmónica” in her city. She studied at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música in Orihuela with Manuel Bernabeu where she won Premio Extraordinario de la Comunidad Valenciana al rendimiento académico. In 2019, she entered the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Murcia, with Rafael Mayans, Alberto Marquina, Ignasi Domènech and Juan Francisco Carrillo.
She has also received lessons and Master Classes from N. Woud, R. Seegers, R. Curfs, B. Major, N. J. Zivkovic, R. Dénes, E. Sammut, B. Cambreling, J. Gumpinguer, Grati Murcia, Javier Azanza, Marc Aixa, Josep Furió, Vicent Vinaixa, Francisco Inglés and Conrado Moya.
As a soloist, she has won first prizes in International Snare Drum Solo Competition in Catarroja, Concurso Nacional de Percusión del festival de Percufest, Concurso Nacional “Álvaro Pareja Martínez” in Iniesta and “Repercute” in Sant Vicent del Raspeig”. She has also won second prize in Concurso Nacional de City of Cuenca. She has played as a soloist: Concerto for Vibraphone by N. Daughtrey and Marimba Concerto by Ramon Garcia i Soler with Banda Sinfónica de Alicante.
She was a member of Joven Orquesta Sinfónica de la Federación de Valencia, Orquesta Filarmónica de la Universidad de Alicante and Joven Orquesta de la Generalitat Valenciana. Nowadays, she is a member of ADDA Joven Sinfónica, Orquesta de Jóvenes de la Región de Murcia, Joven Orquesta Nacional de España and Gustav Mahler Jugendorchesterter. She joined the European Union Youth Orchestra in 2022.
