On 9 May, a group of EUYO musicians performed in Alicante as part of 2018 Europe Day celebrations. Presented by EUIPO, the annual Europe Day concert in Alicante took place in the ADDA concert hall in the city at 20:00. This year marked the eighth edition of the concert, held to commemorate the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration. The musicians then travelled on to Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires and Montevideo with performances at Ibirapuera Auditorium, CCK Concert Hall and Teatro Solis. Alumni and previous concertmaster Sarah Sew directed the musicians. The full programme from the project is listed below:
