On Thursday 21 June, a string quartet of EUYO musicians performed at the European Cultural Heritage summit at the Neues Museum on Berlin’s museum island. The ensemble performed at the summit reception from 9:30-10:30pm at the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The European Cultural Heritage Summit, which took place from 18-24 June 2018 in Berlin, Germany, has been recognised by the European Union as one of the key public events of the European Year of Cultural Heritage (EYCH), supported by the EU’s Creative Europe programme.
The European Cultural Heritage Summit was co-hosted by Europa Nostra, the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz (Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation, SPK) and the German Cultural Heritage Committee (DNK), acting as national coordinator of the EYCH in Germany.
